Biography
My Research Expertise Is Multidisciplinary And Encompasses The Fields Of Structural Geology, Tectonic Geomorphology, Paleoseismology, Geochronology, And Analog/numerical Modeling. This Combination Allows Me To Observe, Record, And Model Field Data To Predict Patterns Of Tectonic Behavior Throughout The Central Andes During The Meso- And Cenozoic. As Part Of My Ph.d., I Developed An Original Numerical Platform To Simulate The Interactions Between Growth Folds And Fluvial-Alluvial Processes, Which Later Led To The Focus Of My Research Interests On The Identification And Characterization Of Potential Seismogenic Structures To Unravel The Neotectonic Dynamics And Seismic Hazard Of The Central Andes.
