Work-family relationship in private company workers: A systematic review
Resumen
The work-family relationship refers to the two-way interaction between an individual's paid work and family responsibilities. It involves how each role impacts the other, in positive aspects such as growth and negative aspects such as conflict. This interdependence between work and family has intensified given the growing demand in both areas, impacting the lives of workers. A systematic search of scientific literature was proposed to analyze the work-family relationship in workers in private companies. Following the PRISMA methodology, searches were carried out in WOS, SCOPUS and SCIELO databases. Nineteen investigations that analyzed the study topic were included. Differences were observed in work-family conflict at the gender level, generated by various stressors. The findings highlight the need for work environments that balance demands and promote support, allowing workers to positively perform their work and family roles.
