Polymetry and dramatic structure in Las cadenas del demonio

Las cadenas del Demonio is a comedia de santos by Calderón, in which the evangelization of Armenia Minor by the apostle Bartholomew is represented. Based on the proposal of Marc Vitse, who considers metric change as the main structuring criterion of the comedia, this work proposes a segmentation of Las cadenas del Demonio, so that its three acts are divided and hierarchized into macro and micro sequences.
