Anticresis: una alternativa jurídico-sociológica al problema del acceso al crédito en el Perú

This article analyzes the legal phenomenon of antichresis as a social response to the difficulties of credit access in Peru today. The authors examine the concept of credit and its development in the financial sector and the national reality delving into the possibility of accessing it in different regions and its development in times of COVID-19. Likewise, the article observes antichresis collaterals, describes their application, and explains how this figure would supplant the role of access to credit, which is known to be full of limitations. Finally, the authors explore the problems an antichresis contract faces in an informal setting and discuss its performance in particular cases.
