Resumen

A fast multichannel laser based method to measure the parameters of a loudspeaker is presented. A truncated generalized Maxwell (TGM) model is used to describe more closely the behavior of the real and imaginary parts of the mechanical impedance at low frequencies. As in previous papers related to the subject presented by one of the authors, no extra mass or compliance are needed to estimate the loudspeaker parameters. The method presented here, has been automated and the required measurements: voltage, current circulating in the voice coil, and cone velocity, are registered in parallel. The calculations are completed by post processing using dedicated software.
