N2 - Monitoring existing reinforced concrete buildings at the large-scale is a complex issue for holders and administrators that are responsible for the user safety. Such operations can be simplified by using Decision Support Systems (DSSs) to evaluate the criticalities that can compromise human safety or building usability. This paper specifies a DSS devoted to evaluate the building safety performance level. The DSS includes an application software (APP) developed for mobile devices and a web service-based platform (Quality Detection Platform - QDP) that stores and processes data. The collected data are elaborated by a suitable procedure, which assigns automatically some Key Performance Indices to every report. The DSS allows monitoring buildings at the regional scale and provides a classification of the most damaged ones, useful for civil protection aims and for the prioritization of interventions. In order to assess the proposed methodology, a case study of a reinforced concrete residential building in El Perellonet, Valencia (Spain) is developed.
