Resumen

ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a type of digital therapy that, through visual and sound stimuli, generates relaxation. An alternative to the techno-stress generated by the current pandemic context are ASMR videos whose consumption has increased. This research will analyze how young university students from Lima who use ASMR videos consume this type of content and what is their perception of the audiovisual language used in these videos. For this, a qualitative research was carried out through in-depth interviews. 8 university students from Metropolitan Lima were interviewed. Students were found to consume these videos for different reasons. However, personified intimacy predominates. For future studies, it is recommended to analyze the use of ASMR videos on other platforms such as Twitch and TikTok and evaluate their relevance in the post-pandemic.
