N2 - Sustainability has become a remarkable issue in most economies, causing many companies to focus on product recovery and reverse supply chain. However, work with quantitative models is still uncommon. This research is focused on inventory control in the remanufacturing. The model helps in maintaining the customer's satisfaction by providing safety stock. A procedure is used for the assessment of manufacturing and remanufacturing goods optimal levels at the same time. The main objective is to minimize the waste and increase the competitive advantage of conversion cost.
