Resumen
The objective of this article is to critically review the current perspective of specialized literature on the role of language in contemporary capitalist mode of production. To do so, three historical moments in the relationship between language and Marxism were examined. This allowed us to identify the theoretical and epistemological components of the proposals of the Philosophy of language that animate the current debate. Our intention is to generate a discussion with the cited literature regarding two critical points that allow us to question the relationship between language and Marxism in the current debate. First, from a Marxist perspective, certain distinctions elaborated by specialized literature between productive and unproductive labor are questioned. Second, we seek to deepen the understanding of work as language and the distinction between praxis and poiesis.
