N2 - The current investigation comes from the necessity of solving one big issue from technical educational institutes, they try to reduce the high dropout rate among their students. This dropout rate is directly related to satisfaction index from their extern customers, represented by the students and intern customers, represented by the teachers of the institute. Based on a cause-and-effect analysis, it was found these satisfaction index were influenced by the incorrect choice of teachers to be hired or to be assigned to certain courses in the current semester. Currently, as there is no standardized process of teacher assignment in most technical institutes, the new assignment is established only taking into account the assignment of the previous cycle, this process does not allow a continuous improvement of the satisfaction index. This issue is approached by creating surveys that allow the creation of a single score for each teacher. After this, we proceed with the construction of a linear program that seeks to optimize the allocation of the best teachers to the courses for which they feel motivated and also taking the schedules in which they have availability, all this respecting the hours in the curricula of each technical career. Due to the dichotomy presented in the problem variables, it is necessary to construct the linear program with binary variables.
