N2 - This research was carried out with the need to know the procedures that must be implemented in the prevention of occupational risks associated with the maritime transport of corrosive materials, whose purpose is to avoid accidents during the transfer of the merchandise to the means of transport and to the final destination, from a theoretical point of view, it will be possible to identify the most efficient procedure to carry out compliance with the regulations and the legal framework. in general, about the handling, transport and storage of hazardous chemicals and, in turn, knowing the benefits of such implementation. In this review, previous studies addressing different occupational health issues were analyzed, including the prevention of occupational risks at sea and knowledge about the proper handling and transfer of said goods. The analysis of the applications was carried out in the face of the inefficient management of workers and collaborators. The sources of information that were considered were Redalyc, Dialnet, Alicia and Scopus, managing to find 10 articles in Spanish, from the last 5 years. The results confirmed that the most common failures are due to incapacity for work due to cargo handling.
