abstract = "In this paper the performance of wireless cooperative communication with opportunistic transmission is obtained. The opportunistic transmission exploits the conditions where fading amplitude is above a threshold, information which is known through a feedback link between the transmitter and the receiver. We are going to add this opportunistic concept to cooperation system for Amplify-and-Forward and Decodeand-Forward protocols. Then we evaluate the performance using Monte-Carlo simulations for three different cooperation scenarios. Results show that the proposed scenarios combat the effects of fading notably and a significant improvement in all presented cases compared to an ordinary cooperation system.",
