Resumen
In Peru, teachers’ political orientations permeate the construction, integration and modernization of the State while response options are available to social demands in a given space and time. For this reason, the research objective proposes to analy-ze the essential nuclei that make up the political training of the Peruvian teacher from the repercussions that the education reform had in Peru. The methodology corresponds to a logical historical analysis that involved the heuristics and hermeneu-tics typical of the state of the art with review and systematization of research from specialized databases. The findings allow the identification of three essential nodes that configure the political training of the Peruvian teacher from the repercussions of the educational reform: (1) a profile that nests the social stigma of the teaching profession marked by a past of indigenous vulnerability, (2) guidelines for teacher training that guided the ideals for the construction of national identity and social cohe-sion and (3) the social teacher movements that have represented a “collective echo” of social demand.
