N2 - The research endeavors to ascertain the initial categorization of Unified Indices for enhancing price realignments through polynomial formulas applied to road construction projects in Peru in the year 2021. The methodology outlined in Supreme Decree No. 011-79-VC was employed and juxtaposed with an optimization proposal addressing monthly realignments, deductions for work, and fluctuations in bids. The investigation encompassed three national road projects, extracting parameters from executed realignments. Findings revealed a robust correlation among the four parameters and the adjustments implemented. The Optimal grouping variable exhibited a considerably strong correlation for all three projects under examination (0.74, 0.996, 0.905). In conclusion, it is deduced that the optimum categorization of Unified Indices for price realignments involves considering monthly adjustments, applying pertinent deductions, and factoring in bid variations for the successful execution of road construction projects.
