N2 - This study aims to analyze gender stereotypes about women in the fitness world on the social network Instagram. The purpose is to identify the different normalized gender stereotypes and thus find the reason for this phenomenon in order to understand. This study will use terms such as preconceived ideas, attitudes assigned to each person based on their gender and socialization. As for the methodology, an interpretive paradigm of qualitative approach is applied, with a case study where interviews will be used as a data collection technique and the instruments will be in-depth interviews with the Instagram audience. Finally, it can be seen that we have a generation that is eradicating certain gender stereotypes due to cultural changes in society. However, there are other stereotypes deeply rooted in our culture that place women at a disadvantage.
