Evaluation of the Digital Competences of University Professors

Resumen

In this research, we measured the digital competence levels of Peruvian university professors using the DigCompEdu framework. We use a self-assessment questionnaire proposed by the framework to collect the data directly. As a result, 47.06% professors are at the leadership level and 35.29% professors are at the expertise level. In addition, it is important to highlight that within the six areas in which the twenty-two competences are divided, the one that obtained the lowest results is area 04 called Assessment in which we recommended to improve their digital competences.
