N2 - The COVID-19 pandemic transformed global education, leading to a sudden shift to online classes with minimal preparation, which significantly impacted student engagement. Many students encountered new dynamics that hindered their active participation, particularly in technical subjects. This paper examines effective teaching strategies aimed at enhancing student engagement and ensuring learning continuity despite these challenges. As a result, notable improvements in academic performance and student satisfaction have been observed. For instance, average course grades increased from 14.06 in the first semester of 2023 to 16.58 in the second semester, reflecting substantial progress. Although there was a slight decline to 15.75 in the first semester of 2024, these scores still indicate improvement compared to earlier semesters. Furthermore, the decrease in the standard deviation of laboratory scores - from 6.11 in the second semester of 2023 to 5.37 in the first semester of 2024 - suggests a more consistent understanding of the course material among students.
