Resumen

This paper details the systematic literature review, based on the Kitchenham protocol, carried out to study the method of communicability evaluation (CEM) proposed by De Souza, and to identify problems and effects in its application, as well as methods, protocols, or processes that are being used to apply this method, in addition to tools that support the application of the mentioned method. The following databases were used: Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and ACM Digital Library. Finally, 19 articles were selected, which were used to answer the three research questions posed. In conclusion, it was noted that there is no evidence of a detailed process describing the different activities to be carried out when applying CEM. It was also noted that the application of CEM is, in general, manual and that the various tools used to support it only focus on one part of the method.
