Resumen

The present work is an example of how the good use of technological media makes it possible to raise awareness in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic. The research sought to answer the following question: How to raise awareness among business students about the importance of ethical behavior for responsible management? Considering that at the country and global level a situation was being experienced that demanded ethical responses from the entire population. We chose as a sample students of a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from a business school in Lima that was interested in its students wanting to participate freely in the experience. This group of students was chosen because they are the ones who are not spontaneously motivated by issues related to the ethical aspects of business. On the other hand, Sofía Montañez, a student of our Master's Degree in Integration and Educational Innovation of Information and Communication Technologies was interested in carrying it out as part of her thesis. It was proposed to the student that it should be an innovation proposal, which is one of the modalities for the graduation of our master's degree, since it would allow her to make a proposal and analyze the result of the same. The elaboration and execution of the proposal took an average of two years, 2020-2021. Its implementation through a pilot, was in the second semester of the year 2021. The proposal included the preparation, convening and execution phases. In the execution part, a six-week pilot experience was developed that included synchronous sessions on the Zoom platform and asynchronous sessions through the MOBILE LEARNING methodology from the WhatsApp application and the design of multimedia resources for the development of content and follow-up. The experience involved 40 MBA students from different cohorts of the program, from different parts of the country, whose participation was free choice. The conclusions of the pilot experience indicate that students increased their interest in training topics related to ethical behavior in business and in the consideration of the importance of ethical issues in business behavior. It included a high satisfaction of the participants, who would recommend this experience to their peers, since the development of the experience incorporated the use of digital media that were adapted to the conditions and capabilities of the students. This shows that technology, well used, is an excellent training alternative for responsible management education.
