Resumen
This article examines adolescent sexual and reproductive health in Peru as compared to other developing and industrialized countries world-wide. The article examines relevant international commitments and program-related provisions in light of the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and argues that a human rights framework can be useful in the promotion and protection of adolescent sexual and reproductive health-related rights. Application of a human rights framework can be especially useful in contexts where there is strong opposition to adolescent sexuality and adolescent participation.
