N2 - The implementation of health information system (HIS) software in a specific context requires consideration of, among other factors, the events that occur during the implementation process. From an empirical perspective, certain scenarios provide valuable insights into user experience (UX). In this study, software development considerations were determined from the experience of the UX application in HIS implementation. To accomplish this objective, a systematic literature review was conducted. A total of 276 records were extracted and 71 primary studies were selected. A user-centered development approach is one of the pillars for the implementation of HIS, providing adequate support to the UX. The design and development process of HIS should be particularly careful in areas such as improving system integration, optimizing clinical work processes, and increasing usability for health care staff. In addition, good UX is influenced by the principles of simplicity, customization, adaptability, and understandability.
