SIN RESUMEN

Objetivo General

The research aim is to analyze the relationship between teachers' motivating/demotivating styles (autonomy support Vs controlling, structure Vs chaos), teachers' basic psychological need satisfaction and frustration (autonomy, competence, and relatedness), and adaptive outcomes (positive emotions/calmness, work engagement, job satisfaction) and maladaptive outcomes (negative emotions/stress, burnout).

Objetivos Especificos

OE1: To examine whether teachers' motivating style is related to basic psychological need satisfaction resulting in positive outcomes. OE2: To examine whether teachers' demotivating styles is associated with basic psychological need frustration leading to negative outcomes. OE3: To identify classroom moments to examine the teachers’ motivating/demotivating styles and to examine if there are situations in which teachers can feel more positive emotions/calmness or more negative emotions/stress using a smart device (EDA measure). OE4: To explore in depth the teachers’ emotions during different class moments.
