Objetivo General

The main objective of the current study is to understand how environmental impacts related to the Peruvian agricultural sector have evolved in recent decades.

Objetivos Especificos

OE1:Literature review of environmental impacts related to the Peruvian agricultural sector, identifying those crops that are of major interest to be analyzed in depth in different areas of the country. OE2:Develop the requirement matrix, A, for the selected years over a time frame of 30 years. The requirement matrix A is based on the IO table and is key for the calculation of the Leontief inverse. OE3:Develop the environmental matrices for climate change, water withdrawals and eutrophication, for the studied years. OE4:Calculate the environmental impacts over the studied time period of the main Peruvian agricultural crops. OE5:Develop the environmental impact calculator for science-based policy support.
