Mujeres en altos cargos gerenciales y sus estrategias de posicionamiento y estabilidad laboral: implicaciones para organizaciones de América Latina
Resumen
In the ever-evolving landscape of the corporate world, female executives are employing leadership mechanisms and strategies to compete with their male and female counterparts while navigating the challenges of career advancement. This work reviews coping strategies and attitudes that assist women in positioning themselves and maintaining stability in high managerial roles. The feminization of business, seeking support from other women, masculinization of leadership styles, and the sabotage of female peers (i.e., queen bee syndrome) are strategies identified in the literature. This article discusses the implications for organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean in a post-COVID-19 context.
