Resumen
This article aims to illustrate how the Environmental Law Clinic at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru is a key space for training the lawyers of the future. It employs an active learning model that seeks to reduce gaps in access to the justice system, especially in vulnerable communities suffering the effects of environmental degradation. Unlike traditional cases where the client is a person or group, here nature itself is the primary focus. It will also explain the ethical approach and how it relates to representing a common good, which affects all of society. In this regard, we will review: The ethical responsibility of academia; The interdisciplinary role and ethical dilemmas; Strategic alliances; and finally, we will outline some reflections.
