CAFE System (Physical Activity Questionnaire for Schoolchildren), Version 2 The CAFE System (Physical Activity Questionnaire for Schoolchildren), Version 2, is a comprehensive and standardized measurement system developed for the epidemiological assessment and surveillance of physical activity (PA) and sedentary behavior (SB) in adolescents. It integrates a questionnaire specifically designed for the school population, standardized algorithms for constructing epidemiological indicators, a Technical Guide for Application, Data Cleaning, and Analysis, and an automated analysis template. The system enables the standardized processing of information on physical activity and sedentary behavior and the derivation of indicators for epidemiological research and surveillance. Its methodological framework was designed to promote consistency in data processing, reproducibility of measurements, comparability across studies, and transparency of the analytical process. This repository provides the complete CAFE System, Version 2, in English and Spanish, comprising: (1) the CAFE Questionnaire, Version 2; (2) the Technical Guide for Application, Data Cleaning, and Analysis; and (3) the Automated Analysis Template. The English and Spanish materials constitute language versions of the same measurement system and maintain a common structure, coding scheme, and analytical framework. The CAFE System, Version 2, is intended to support researchers and professionals conducting epidemiological studies and surveillance of physical activity and sedentary behavior among adolescents.
