ISO/IEC 25000-based quality-in-use evaluation guide for B2C platforms for SMEs in the food sector

The Covid 19 pandemic and lockdown established as a strategy to combat it generated a substantial increase in the use of e-commerce, increasing the online shopping transaction. In the case of small and medium enterprises in the food sector in Peru, sales increased through websites, mobile applications and telephone-based services. However, the quality in use of such websites showed certain shortcomings that should be improved. The goal of this article is to define a guide for the application of quality in use based on ISO/IEC 25000. This guide was developed by identifying the characteristics, sub characteristics and metrics of quality in use with the support of expert judgment and applied to a case study for validation. In this case study, it was evident that the quality in use can be evaluated through the application of the guide directly and simply, obtaining objective results.
