Description

The main objective of this study is to use the urban metabolism methodology to understand the technical and socioeconomic processes in metropolitan Lima by quantifying the material and energy flows in the last decade. In addition, this study will identify the critical issues affecting metropolitan Lima in terms of consumption of resources and energy. Finally, the study will explore the changes on the material and energy flows related to the adoption of electric vehicles in the metropolitan area based on different plausible scenarios.
