Biography
My research addresses the low sensitivity of NMR spectroscopy by designing novel analytical protocols for challenges in chemistry. My research is concerned with enhancing the NMR signal intensity for the study of intermolecular interactions of metal complexes with biomolecules (proteins, enzymes and nucleic acids) and for the analysis of complex matrices such as biopolymers and living organisms. I use high-field/low-field NMR, time-domain NMR relaxometry, MRI, and solid-state NMR to acquire quantitative and qualitative data that map complex molecular systems. Distinguished RENACYT Research.
