Biography
I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex (UoS). My doctoral research focuses on labour economics, specifically on the impact of immigrants in host labour markets and on the effect of discrimination on migrants' wages, as well as gender-related wage gaps. My work has mostly focused on developing countries. I also have a strong interest in development economics and applied micro-econometrics. I successfully completed the MSc. in Economics at the University of Sussex, where I received the Economics Prize for Best Performance. I also attained a Licentiate (with Outstanding mention) degree and a Bachelor degree in Economics at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru (PUCP). Previously, I have undertaken work as Lecturer/teaching assistant at IDS, UoS, PUCP, and UPCH
