Abstract

The role of the founding leader in the creation and management of companies with social and environmental impact is of great value for the prosperity of these companies and their impact on their stakeholders. In emerging countries such as Peru, the contribution of microenterprises that make significant changes in society and the environment is essential for the economy. Therefore, this study is important and transcendent to analyze the characteristics that make possible a good leadership style for the success of a company. This chapter is based on the case of twenty-one Peruvian companies that have achieved a significant impact, which are aligned with the SDGs and are an important example for the generation of other companies in Latin America and in emerging populations and with great social needs.
