Abstract
The software industry is under high pressure to provide software with quality, which implies the adoption of best practices in their processes. In this context the ISO/IEC 29110 standard proposes processes profiles based on sotware lifecycle processes applied to small organizations. In this article we presente experiences and lessons learned about software process improvement collected using the ISO/IEC 29110 basic and organizational profiles in two software developers with the future prospect of becoming certified.
