Abstract
Adults were not reared from larvae collected from this infestation, and identiÞcation was not possible becauseseveralfeaturesoftheinfestationwereunlike previous descriptions and there are no reliable keys for larval sarcophagids. This research report describes a case of human Diptera caused by sarcophagid larvae. Scanning electron microscopy was used to describe features of the second instars for possible species determination.
