Abstract
Hip is one of the best regions that can be assessed effectively using telemedicine. A thorough history taking can be effective to reach the diagnosis in most cases. Examination and imaging are adjunctive to complete the diagnosis. In this chapter, we provide an algorithm to conduct virtual hip assessment effectively and smoothly (Ekeland et al., Int J Med Inform 79:736-771, 2010; Sathiyakumar et al., J Orthop Trauma 29(3):e139-e145, 2015; Buvik et al., J Med Internet Res 21(2):e11330, 2019).
