N2 - This article shows the determination of the optimal number of people that should belong to the work team (crews) for the execution of low or medium voltage electrical works. For this, aspects such as the effective duration of the works, costs of the personnel belonging to the work crew, districts where the electrical works are carried out, and the sequence of activities for each low and medium voltage electrical work were evaluated. In this sense, the model is based on the optimization of the execution time of electrical works carried out (first goal) in different districts, without neglecting the objective of reducing the cost of the composition of the crew (second goal). Finally, the results of the linear programming optimization model by goals conclude that for low and medium voltage underground works, crews of seven people (3 operators and 4 assistants) are required, the same as for medium voltage aerial works; and for low voltage aerial works, five people are required (2 operators and 3 assistants). It should be noted that all these results provide reduced costs.
