N2 - MyFEPS was created in 2010 with the intention of being used in the certification of software products. In addition, it was used in the evaluation of own or third-party products to determine the level of quality and find points for improvement. Likewise, it was used in evaluations for the comparison of products of similar purpose and to select one for its acquisition. The different evaluation projects and the evolution of computer technologies have made it possible to identify improvements that have been implemented in MyFEPS in all these years. In the article, this evolution is described in 3 axes: the industry, the academy and the ISO standards in software product quality, and an analysis of the challenges that follow is presented.
