Multimodal Transport in Copper Logistics Chain for the Mining Sector

Abstract

The article describes the copper logistics chain with a focus on intermodal transport for the transport of ore. The objective of this work was to describe the different processes of copper production; as well as the situation of infrastructure and infrastructure services in the country to identify the modes and means of transport of the mineral identifying, gaps and potentialities for its improvement process. On the other hand, this article has a focus on multimodal transport to move this mineral from the literary review of the last five years. This theoretical review was conducted using the systematic review methodology. The results obtained reveal a global description of the transfer of copper.
