abstract = "This document refers to the proposed improvement in a recognized trading company that is the first national distributor of a world-wide brand of tires. The study is oriented to the area of merchandise dispatch in one of its main warehouses in Lima where the definition of the route and allocation of transportation units for the daily transfer of merchandise is done empirically. This is how a vehicle routing problem is identified. In order to improve delivery times to customers, the allocation of trucks for the different routes and mainly to improve the same dispatch process, we used the method of first designing a route and then assigning it through a Heuristic routing model of vehicles and consider the requirements of customers and the capacity of transport units. Initially information was collected such as location of customers, distances between them and the warehouse as well as between the same customers, orders generated by customers, the capacity of transport units and the volume that occupy the different measures of tires that are marketed.",
