Abstract
This article examines how Golden Age Hispanic writers used mythology, analyzing several examples by poets such as Garcilaso de la Vega and Francisco de Quevedo in the light of opinions by mytographers such as Pérez de Moya and commentators such as Fernando de Herrera.
