Abstract

The mining facilities in the Peru were discussed with focus on then copper mines. The impact of the earthquakes on these mining facilities was also discussed. It was found that the damage consisted of liquefication of the upper lift at a Cuajone leach pad and minor cracking in the upstream concrete face of the Torata dam.
