Abstract

This paper presents a field evaluation of the coexistence between a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system operating at the APT 700 MHz band in Peru and the Analog Television (ATV/NTSC-M) and Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT/ISDB-T). Cases of possible interference from LTE system (base station and user equipment operating in Block A) over TV receiving equipment were measured and analyzed, likewise the interference from UHF digital/analog TV over LTE system (base station and user equipment). It was found that major interference takes place from the LTE user equipment (UE) over digital and analog TV.
