Abstract

The results of the new teaching system that has been implemented in Fluid Mechanics laboratories are presented, which is based on the pedagogical method of Flipped Learning and, in formative evaluations, taking advantage of the potential of ICT tools. Theoretical foundations related to the laboratory tests, instruments, laboratory test modules, test instructions and the procedures to be followed are presented through a set of video clips. Hot Potatoes resource is used for self-evaluation and, Socrative and Case Analysis for hetero-evaluation. These resources are located in the Moodle Paideia PUCP platform. After five semesters of the new teaching system implementation it was observed that the performance of the students with significant learning (note higher than 15) has been increased by 43%; 90% of the students consider the innovation as something good, 96% think that the use of online materials help them to a better understanding of the topic and 93% consider the use of software for evaluations appropriate.
