Abstract
The remote access to laboratories emerge as a complement to hands on laboratories, and encourage the self-learning of the students. The purpose of the work was to show two implementation alternatives for remote access to a Radiofrequency Laboratory (RFL), quick to deploy and without paying for any additional license. These alternatives are based on Single Board Computer (SBC) and Virtual Machines (VM), which proved to be feasible alternatives for the development of remote access to a RFL and in other types of laboratories, especially measurement laboratories. Furthermore, the architecture of RFL is described, and the development of remote access based on SBC and VM is presented. Finally, discussions about scalability was done for remote laboratories.
