Abstract

The objective of this document is to evaluate the implementation of Lean Service tools in a company dedicated to providing environmental consulting services, with the purpose of improving its productivity. The results of the diagnosis demonstrated that the main wastes are, wait, over-process and unused talent, which generate costs of approximately S/. 250,000.00 per year, wherefore, the implementation of the tools was proposed; VSM, 5'S, Suggestion System, Poka Yoke Visual Management and Hoshin Kanri, which are expected to reduce the service flow from 43.5 days per project to 18.9 days, having a reduction in lead time of 56.55%, and therefore generate an approximate annual saving of S/.145,000.00 for the company.
