Abstract
The following paper presents the design of a cyber-physical acoustic monitoring system that can be implemented in the city of Lima and will have the function of warning users when noise reaches dangerous levels. The work covers the design of the physical system, which consists of Sensor Nodes and Gateways. It also covers the design of a software architecture that allows the collection, analysis and sample of data to assure the scalability of the system. Finally, this paper presents the development of a prototype to check the connection between the physical and cyber systems and the correct reading of data from the selected sound sensor.
