Abstract

As Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) become larger and more complex, various authors have pointed out the need for proper design methodologies and support tools. This paper proposes a design approach of a Cyber-Physical Cloud Computing (CPCC) system by using the VDI 2221 guideline for the development of the physical component and the ADD 3.0 method for designing the cloud software architecture. The monitoring of liquified natural gas (LNG) leakage in pipelines of the Peruvian project Proyecto Camisea is taken as a case study.
