Abstract

Electrical energy in Peru is usually produced by mechanical energy conversion from strong flow rivers and flow winds. Nevertheless, when rotor works at maximum power it loses energy by heating, because of contact with bearings also heat evacuated affects thermal environmental conditions (local population, animals, and plants). On the other hand, a wrong positioning of rotor causes its unbalance. For this reason in this work, is proposed some control strategies to achieve a position and speed controller by active mechanism: Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB). Furthermore, an environmental protection is warranted owing to no friction presence between rotor and bearing.
