N2 - The painful shoulder PS is a common condition that leads to the field of rehabilitation for their functional significance in the movement of people. This experimental study clinical trial aims to determine the best combination of electrophysical factors to PS. It was conducted at the Hospital, from September 2010 to September 2012, including the traumatic and rheumatic PS. The target population consisted of 80 patients between 30 and 50 years who were applied before and after the Evolution Scale of Global Function of UCLA. It was assessed the ability to perform their activities of daily living (ADL), to perform jobs at home, to do sports and do their current job. This population was selected for 4 types of treatment for every 20 people, where were included the use of electrophysical agents. In group A: ultrasound + TENS; group B: laser + TENS; group C: Ultrasound + Laser; and group D: magnetic fields + LED + Laser. The results demonstrated in the subjective rating scale that 90% of patients in the D group were greatly improved by the end of treatment. Also, the scale of the UCLA showed overall decrease in pain, and independence in ADL, and 85% improved the extent of joint range and muscle strength. When comparing responses to conventional treatment of combined therapy and therapeutic exercises + therapeutic activities for painful shoulder, according to the evolution of patients, it can be stated that the experimental group D showed better performance.
