Abstract

Nowadays, there is a growing tendency to order food through apps for delivery, which are based on a free market system in which sporadic jobs are obtained and known as “gig economy” [1]. In Peru, the growth of that market was at a rate of 30% in 2019 [2] and, currently, these platforms have about 14,000 registered dealers with more than 1600 associated stores and an average of 20 daily orders served by each distributor [3]. This research seeks to improve the revenue of a food delivery company, by stimulating targeted partnerships with local businesses. A text mining analysis and a bag-of-words model were developed to get a bundling strategy that helps encourage consumers to purchase this combination, selecting those that have the biggest lift.
