Abstract

Through exports, companies gain advantages that can be expanded more by working in networks. This paper analysed the behaviour of Brazilian exports through a qualitative research that used the UCINET program as a tool. The results show that Brazil is an exporter of commodities and that 95% of exports are made by large companies, mainly to the United States and China. In the context of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) the main relationship is with the United States and Argentina. There is a strong need for Brazil to diversify its network and increase its participation in the international market.
